坑头村是鹤塘镇西部的行政村。村名取自地势，村址位于一条山坑的上端，故称坑头。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年后，村子划入第七区。1958年设鹤塘公社坑头大队，1984年改为鹤塘乡坑头村委会，沿用至今。[1]
