上塘村是漳湾镇下辖的行政村，村委会驻地在镇东北约2.2千米处，位于疏港公路北侧。[1]

地名由来[edit]

此地原名郑塘。明末清初这里围垦成两个塘，分为上、下，本村位于上方，故称上塘。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年设生产大队，1984年改设村委会。2006年11月，村庄变更为少数民族村。[1]

人口[edit]

村委会辖上塘、保安塘两个自然村，共12个村民小组。全村有210户、918人，畲族占338人；常驻674人，外来8人。本村籍大学文化以上者48人。[1]

经济[edit]

经济以养殖业为主，主产海蛏、泥蚶和蟹；兼营农业，主产水稻；水果以龙眼为主。[1]

村中有村委楼一幢和初级小学一所。[1]
