坑头村地处新罗区南端，是革命基点村。国道319线与漳龙高速公路穿村而过。村名因位于山坑的入口处而得。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代至民国初此地属马坑社。1929年至1932年这一带属苏维埃政府管辖，之后民国26年归曹莲联保，民国30年划为东安乡地界。解放后村子几经并合，1989年才单独设立村委会，2013年改属曹溪街道。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月和2024年1月，该村分别被命名为2020年度和2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
