坑头村位于建瓯市迪口镇境内，村名与明代周边三村炼银的活动有关。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，明朝年间三村一带炼银，以坑头为主要炼银处，村因此得名。[1]

早年此地属小桥二区郑魏乡，后归迪口六区，1958年划入迪口公社的龙北溪大队。1976年另在此设坑头林场，隶属迪口公社；1984年才定名坑头村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，坑头村入选「绿盈乡村」中级版名单，该名单由南平市公布。[1]
