上洞村在盘陀镇东北一带，北面以蒲野村为界，南面与通坑村相接，西侧挨着大南坂农场的新民作业区。盘陀溪自西南向东北穿村而过，至蒲野村流入鹿溪。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村名原作象洞。宋朝初期此地为大象聚居之处，象群消失后人们在此建社，取名象洞社；因“象”与“上”音近，遂讹作上洞。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地为八都象洞保，民国时期划入蒲凤保。新中国初期曾设上洞乡，其后该乡并入蒲凤乡，以此组建猛进生产合作社。[2]

1958年9月，上洞大队归石榴公社梅林管理区，此后改由盘陀公社管辖。1984年设上洞村委会，1992年2月隶属盘陀镇。[2][3]

村中上洞社为林姓聚居之地，后埔为王姓聚居之地，下阮原为陈姓居住，现以詹姓为主。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2025年10月，上洞村被认定为「漳州市2025年度市级一村一品专业村」，主打青皮甘蔗。[1]
