东安村位于石鼓镇西北部，与吾峰镇、蓬壶镇相邻，是革命基点村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

早先此地归蓬壶管辖，战乱年间蓬壶一带局势不安，“东”指位于蓬壶东边，“安”取平安之意，故名东安。[1]

新中国成立初期设东安乡，乡址在宅兜自然村，1984年改称东安村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

2020年12月，东安村被认定为2020年泉州市中级版「绿盈乡村」。[1] 同月，东安村入选2020年福建省森林村庄名单。[1]
