长坑村是长卿镇的镇中心区，村名因境内有一条较长的坑沟而得。镇内的崇德书院与达摩岩都在本村或邻近地段。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地始设于后周显德年间。五代到清代大多属金田乡还集里，明清之际改隶还二里。民国时期归长康区；1952年为第十一区下属的长坑镇，1955年改属长坑区，1958年先后为长坑乡的高级社和长坑公社的大队。[2]

1984年定为长坑乡长坑村委会，2020年起更名为长卿镇长坑村村民委员会。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

崇德书院位于本村，清光绪年间建，为泉州市文物保护单位，院落为三进式。[3]

达摩岩位于村南，始建于宋代，初名狮峰寺，后因纪念达摩祖师而改名。岩寺现存建筑为清代风格，1995年列为县级文物保护单位。[1][4]
