山下村属福建省三明市建宁县黄埠乡，位于乡域正南方，距乡政府所在地约11千米，距建宁县城约53千米。村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载，是村庄在七龙窠山脚下。[1]

全村辖9个村民小组，有270户、1108人，未注统计年份。土地总面积为1.38万亩，耕地1195亩，山地1.26万亩。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年，由客坊乡划出，划归黄埠乡，设立山下村委员会。[1]

2020年12月，山下村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」；2021年11月，获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2024年7月，被命名为「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[1]
