赤岭村位于淮土镇西北部，地处闽赣两省交界，村名取自所在地的赤褐色山坡。[1][2]

赤岭村是革命老区和中央苏区之一。[2]

1932年至1934年间，红军战士多次驻扎在村中几处厅堂，村民捐款捐粮支持红军。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年10月，村子被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年1月，获评「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清朝初年建村，民国时属凤山乡，称隘岭保。[1]

建国初为凤山乡隘岭村，1951年改属大王乡，称赤岭村。1958年归凤山公社，1961年设赤岭大队，1966年划归淮土公社，1984年改设淮土乡赤岭村民委员会。[1]
