横坑村是福建省三明市三元区岩前镇下辖的行政村，位于三明市区西郊，村内有横坑温泉度假村。村名因村中一条通往洋溪的水坑而来。[1]

该自然村有一条通往洋溪的坑，村因此得名横坑。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

博雅地名网所载，村子面积8平方公里，该网称其为岩前镇最小的行政村。全村99户386人（年份未注），分为4个村民小组，森林面积8737亩，覆盖率为86%（年份未注）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

横坑是古村名，历史上曾隶属沙县和永安，解放后归三元县。1958年公社化时，村属岩前公社，并设横坑大队。1983年起由岩前办事处管辖，设横坑村；1987年恢复乡制，改设横坑村民委员会，此后沿用至今。[1]

经济与特产[edit]

村民以渔业养殖为主，鱼以山泉水饲养，村中开发出「横坑熏鱼干」等特产。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村子地处地质断层带，温泉是本村的一大特色。村内建有横坑温泉度假村和红鱼谷，另有百年历史的泗州古佛庙，以及清末民国初年的部分民居。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，横坑村获评省级文明村镇社区（2018年至2020年度）。2021年11月，省爱卫办认定横坑村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2022年10月，省农业农村厅把横坑村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
