上塘村位于灌口镇西面，紧邻324国道，村内以农业为基础，自然资源较丰富。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地属安仁里十五都排前磜洋保。民国时划为灌口镇上塘保，1958年4月设郊区灌口公社上塘大队。[1]

1984年设上塘村委会，1987年划归集美区。[1]

社区建设与文化[edit]

上塘村是全区农村社区建设的试点村之一，自2007年起试点，2011年通过农村社区全覆盖验收。[1]

村里曾办起厦门首届“童玩节”，儿童来自海峡两岸；学校也常年组织闽南特色活动。[1]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月命名上塘村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

文物古迹[edit]

上塘村的瑞塘宫始建于明代，清代重建，1988年再修，为前后两殿的建筑。[3]

排前山峰宫迁建于清嘉庆二十五年（1820年），此后于光绪二十八年（1902年）修缮，2008年又复修。[3]

虎空山遗存点为商周时期遗存，荷山遗存点为青铜时期遗存，均于1987年文物普查时发现。[4]
