横坑村位于福建省福州市闽清县白樟镇。[1]

村址建在西边山麓下，一条小坑自西向东横穿村中，流入溪中，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时与沃头合设一个保，名为横沃保，属金沙乡；1950年设园沃乡，归第三区。[1]

1957年转入高级社，改属白樟区；1958年置大队，归红旗公社，1959年划归白樟公社。[1]

1984年改为村委会，属白樟乡政府；1993年撤乡改镇，改隶白樟镇政府。2015年12月，村庄迁至新潮。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予横坑村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

2022年10月，福建省农业农村厅将横坑村认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
