赤岭村为福州市罗源县白塔乡的一个行政村，位于104国道边，靠近罗源与连江的交界处。村名因村后一座山岭的土壤呈红色而得。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明至清末，本地属梅溪里；民国时期分属三区、二区，并隶凤寿、凤石等乡。1950年归五区应德乡，后于1955年改隶洋柄区。1958年撤区改社，成为城关公社应德大队的一部分。1961年复区，另设赤岭大队，归城关区应德公社。1965年并入城郊公社，1966年改隶白塔公社。其后大队一度改称革委会，1983年复为大队管委会，1984年起称村委会，隶属白塔乡。[1]

文化[edit]

2020年6月，村庄被确定为「罗源县第四轮第一批（2019年）“平安村（社区）”」；2022年12月，福建省爱卫办命名赤岭村为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
