历史沿革[edit]
从村口远望，环绕村子的山脉像九条巨龙，因而得名。[1]
明代隶程乡县万安都，清代隶嘉应州龙文堡，清末至民国划归丰顺县。1950年后并入梅县，设九龙小乡；1953年办九龙农业合作社，先初级社后转高级社；1958年入梅南公社。1983年与水美并为一个水美乡，1987年设九龙管理区，1999年改称九龙村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
梅南镇概况有「采不尽九龙茶」的说法，并称九龙是茶叶专业村。[2]
