坪畲村是梅县区大坪镇所辖的行政村，旧称上畲，以茶叶入选广东省“一村一品”专业村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村民居住和耕种之处地势较平，青山绿水环绕；村外山高路斜，客家话“斜”与“畲”同音，故名坪畲。旧称上畲。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
沿革与全镇大体一致：清末在大坪堡内，新中国成立初隶梅西区，先后经大坪乡、梅西人民公社，至1960年改隶新设的大坪人民公社，1983年划入梅县市大坪区公所，1988年设坪畲管理区，1999年改称坪畲村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年9月，坪畲村列入「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单，产业为茶叶。[1]
