上和村是梅县区大坪镇所辖的行政村，旧称嶂下村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子上游有屏峰嶂（分上嶂、中嶂、下嶂），旧称嶂下村。新中国成立后，因村中姓氏众多，盼各姓和睦相处，改称上和村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
沿革与全镇大体一致：清末在大坪堡内，新中国成立初隶梅西区，先后经大坪乡、梅西人民公社，至1960年改隶新设的大坪人民公社，1983年划入梅县市大坪区公所，当时的管理区名为云彩，1988年起沿用，1999年起称上和村民委员会。[1]
