历史沿革[edit]
1950年代前期，罗笛埇等16条自然村共同组成一个乡，乡府设于罗笛埇。1958年建大队，之后依次为乡（1983年）、管理区（1987年）和村委会（1999年）。[1]
地理与人口[edit]
村子呈东西走向的带形，东西长18千米；四邻为：东面中岭、南面赤岭、西面东莲塘、北面那良（均为村委会）。全村820户、4071人，多数是汉族，总面积20平方千米。耕地约3.61平方千米，林地约4.66平方千米。[3]
经济[edit]
以水稻、甘蔗、荔枝、香蕉和北运菜为主，据该村概况，2016年人均年收入4200元；村里有完全小学、卫生站各1所。2004年村里花近百万元铺成8.2千米水泥路。[3]2020年8月，罗笛埇村入选首批「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，品种为荔枝。[1]
