历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是此地原为荒山、只种李树，称「李园」，后改写为谐音的「苑」。陈姓六世祖在南宋景炎年间（1276—1278年）从鹤山迁来立村。[1]1961年从五和管理区分出，设李苑大队，1984年称李苑乡，1987年设村委会，1988年改称管理区，1999年起称李苑村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
全村辖8个村民小组，据博雅地名网，有常住人口1400多人、耕地350亩，外来人口2000多人，厂企30多家，其中规模以上企业6家，村集体收入主要靠出租厂房和发包土地。[1]百度百科还提到，2021年村里投入70多万元修建排洪涵窦，缓解路口积水。[2]李苑村在2021年和2022年入选淘宝村名单。[1]
