马龙村是佛山市顺德区北滘镇西南部的行政村，2001年由马村和现龙两个村合并而成，面积4.39平方千米，毗邻佛山一环，与乐从镇、勒流相邻。^[1]^[2]

村里河涌密布，是典型的水乡。^[1]据村里自述，常住人口12545人，户籍4780人，党员191名；集体资产分两个资产办和两个股份社，股东共4096人。^[1]^[2]村内130家工业企业主要做家电、五金建材和家具；2014年马村股份每股分红3800元，现龙每股2450元。^[2]

村里新建了马村公园、现龙河滨公园和马龙儿童书阁，又把云溪黄公祠、南湾黄公祠、现龙碉楼等老建筑修葺后改作老人活动中心和图书馆。^[2]2020至2022年，马龙三度入选淘宝村；2019年9月，村被列入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。^[1]

2015年10月4日下午3时，马龙遭龙卷风袭击，16间厂房受损，受灾面积200亩，直接经济损失3.05亿元，2人死亡、60人受伤。^[3]
