龙涌口村属广东省佛山市顺德区容桂街道，位于街道西南，面积1.8平方千米，户籍人口3988人，分12个自然村，村落多沿涌而建[1][2]。村名由蛇涌改为龙涌，1980年为避免与北滘的龙涌重名，加“口”字[1][3]。
历史沿革与地名[edit]
涌口原叫蛇口，清同治癸酉年（1873年）前称“蛇涌”；1853年筑桂洲大堤时，把“蛇”改成“龙”，图个吉利，村名成了龙涌[1][3]。1952年为龙涌乡，1958年立龙涌大队，1966年与大福基合并叫水红大队，1975年再分开；1980年地名普查，因与北滘的龙涌大队同名，改叫“龙涌口”大队。1983年称乡，1997年称村，1999年定名龙涌口村委会[1]。
经济与荣誉[edit]
村情说，2008年工农业总产值约1.5亿元，辖内共有企业100家，另有一座1.5万平方米的砂石码头[2]。2021年、2022年村子入选淘宝村名单；2022年1月被确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2026年3月认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村」[1]。
