穗香村属广东省佛山市顺德区容桂街道，位于街道西部，东邻四基，南接大福基，西、北濒容桂水道德胜河段，面积约2.5平方千米，分10个村小组[1][2]。名称与种稻有关，其地原是滩涂淤积后围垦而成的“穗香围”[2][3]。
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初属新村乡；1958年归四基大队，1961年立穗香大队，1963年并回四基大队，1973年再分出；1983年改乡，1987年改村，1999年起为穗香村委会，沿用至今[1]。
地名由来[edit]
地名资料说，穗香是容桂的水稻种植大乡之一，收割季节稻穗成片，随风送香，因而得名[3]。村情则称此地由滩涂淤积后筑围而成，叫“穗香围”[2]。
人口与经济[edit]
村情说，常住4045人，其中农业人口3300，流动人口约4755[2]。2001年村里整治了围外千亩基塘，当年被授予「广东省无公害农产品」生产基地，是“淡口头菜”的主产地；村内建有城西小学和7000多平方米的穗香市场[2]。穗香村2021年、2022年先后入选淘宝村名单[1]。
