大福基社区属广东省佛山市顺德区容桂街道，位于街道西边，面积1.52平方千米，分8个居民小组，辖内有福生一片、福生二片和穗龙三个工业区[1][2]。旧称大幅基，意为大块基地，后取吉利字眼改作“大福基”[3]。
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初期属新村乡；1958年与穗香合并，叫大福基大队，1966年与穗香分开，转与龙涌口合并为永红大队，1976年再与龙涌口分开；1983年改乡，1987年改村，1989年称大福基管理区，1998年设村委会，2001年改居委会至今[1]。
人口与社区[edit]
村情说，辖区常住3081人，外来4511人[2]。股份社由8个生产队于1994年并成，2001年股权固化后有股民2331名；社区党总支有党员106人[2]。村情页称2000年“撤村建居”，沿革页则写2001年村委会改居委会，两处相差一年[1][2]。
社区获过「全国五四红旗团支部」「广东省体育先进社区」「省卫生村」等荣誉；2019年9月入选2018年「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位[1][2]。
