兰田村在邓坊镇北部山区，距镇政府16公里，辖12个村民小组，398户1656人。[1]
地名由来[edit]
当地盛产一种染料植物，本地称兰籽树，后来在此建村，故名兰田。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
全村土地面积44406亩，其中林地40095亩、水田2372亩。产业有水稻1882亩、竹木24057亩，另养生猪625头，收入主要靠水稻和林地。2019年9月，它被列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村原属莲山乡，1956年成立兰田高级社，1961年起为邓坊公社的兰田大队。1960年代中期它曾与杨梅大队合为莲山大队，1972年重新分出兰田、益田两个大队。1983年设乡，1988年为管理区，1998年撤区建村。[1]
