茶头背村在邓坊镇东北部，距镇政府约8公里，辖10个村民小组，203户739人。2002年前属油山镇。[1]
地名由来[edit]
当地说法是村里的出产分为三股，茶占其中一股，故称茶头背。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
全村土地面积11024亩，其中水田1282亩、旱地378亩、林地9000亩。产业有水稻724亩、竹木7000亩，另养生猪521头。2019年9月，它被列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村先办初级社，再转高级社；1961年称大队，1968年一度改叫湖山大队，1979年恢复原名，隶油山公社。1983年设乡，1988年为管理区（属油山镇），1998年改称村民委员会，直到2002年12月才划给邓坊镇。[1]
