历史沿革[edit]
相传村始于北宋，先后叫过小陈乡、陈福乡，到明万历年间定名会江。[1]
经济[edit]
博雅地名网转录的村情资料（未注明年份）记载：耕地820亩，人口1829人；有工业企业30家，工业总产值1.24亿元。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 阿里研究院等机构发布的「2020年淘宝村」「2021年淘宝村」「2022年淘宝村」名单中均有该村。[1]
- 2023年8月获评2022年度「广州市美丽乡村」。[1]
- 获认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」（2024年11月）。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
禺南武工队旧址在会江村石中二路，原是纯菴区公祠，始建于清道光十年（1830年），三间两进，占地190.75平方米。1947年底，中共禺南特派员领导的武装队伍在此成立，定名「二支队禺南武装工作队」，简称禺南武工队，后来成为粤赣湘边纵队番禺独立团的基础。旧址属广州市文物保护单位；2023年11月又被收入《广州市地名保护名录（第二批）》。[2]
村里的骑马公诞在农历六月廿四，村中搭台连演三天三夜粤剧。会江的白土泉在史料中有名气。[3]
