历史沿革[edit]
相传北宋咸平年间（约1000年），植姓村民迁到此处，起名植村。1987年起设村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
博雅地名网转录的村情资料（未注明年份）记载：耕地170亩，人口1960人，种植以蔬菜为主；有工业企业15家，工业总产值2亿元。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 阿里研究院等机构发布的「2020年淘宝村」「2021年淘宝村」「2022年淘宝村」名单中均有该村。[1]
- 列入「2019年广东省卫生村」名录（2019年10月）。[1]
- 获认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」（2024年11月）。[1]

植村庙诞在农历十二月十一，在天罡堂庙拜三圣公。[2]
