枫下村在广州市黄埔区九佛街道，面积约12.8平方千米，原属白云区钟落潭镇，2005年8月划归萝岗区九龙镇。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前这里的自然村称枫园下；1953年起称枫下乡，辖枫园下、枫园上、东村、上村、新村5条自然村。[1] 1959年蟹庄作为一个生产队并入，成立枫下大队，1961年蟹庄又分出。[1] 1984年改称枫下乡，1987年成立白云区九佛镇枫下村委会，2005年8月划归萝岗区九龙镇，2019年起属九佛街道。[1]
地名由来[edit]
百度百科称，宋代马氏始祖迁入此地，见村后山上枫林茂盛，把村定名为枫园下，沿用800多年；20世纪50年代起简称枫下。[2]
