历史沿革[edit]

张氏始祖大典公于1867年从榃桥村迁来，形成村中最早的村落。[1][2]

1953年，这里设立横岗乡。1958年，横岗成为黎少公社的横岗生产大队；1961年6月改属新设的横岗公社，1974年7月回归黎少公社。1983年再改为横岗乡，属黎少区；1986年改设村委会。[2]

文化[edit]

2026年1月，横岗村获评第二批广东省“百千万工程”典型村。[1]
