河口社区是河口镇的镇中心区社区，居民委员会驻河口街兴盛路。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区居民多由邻近村庄陆续迁入，以张、傅两姓居多。1987年设居委会，2001年改制为社区，2005年选出首届社区居民委员会。[1]

民国初属第八区三堡乡，民国后期划归连滩镇，建国初属河口行政村。此后先后隶属河口乡、东风人民公社、河口人民公社和河口区公所，1987年起隶属河口镇人民政府。[1][2]
