东成镇是广东省云浮市新兴县下辖的乡镇级行政单位，地处县境东部，与县城相距约12公里。地名的来历与一位地方人士有关：1927年，回龙圩在河对岸重建为新圩，新圩便以六堡联防自卫队长刘东成的名字定名为东成。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

回龙河上游北岸早先有回龙圩，明朝初期（约1388年）已经形成。1925年圩场遭焚毁，两年后，在河对岸开平至腰古公路两侧另建新圩，并以当时六堡联防自卫队长刘东成的名字为地名。[1]

行政沿革上，清顺治年间此地属宁化都；宣统二年（1910年）归第五区。1941年划入东路第三区的稔村乡，1946年另设东成乡，1949年12月起属新兴县第二区。此后经稔村区（1955年8月）、东风（稔村）人民公社（1958年9月）、中共东成人民公社（1969年11月）、东成区（1983年8月）等建制变动，1987年4月定为东成镇，镇名沿用至今。[1]

2024年1月，云浮市卫生健康局将东成镇命名为2023年云浮市卫生镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

东成镇在新兴县东部，与县城相距约12公里，与高要、高明接壤。省道113线贯穿全镇，对外交通便利。[2]
