河口社区是云城区河口街道下辖的社区，属主城区，2001年设立河口社区居民委员会。社区名称与街道相同，取自南山河与一条原为云坑支流的小河交汇之处。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区一带的居民来源不一。欧氏始祖欧玉星公于1413年从南雄迁入；清道光年间有戴姓始祖迁来；黄姓始祖黄荣喜随后迁来居住；20世纪40年代何氏始祖迁入；1953年林氏始祖迁入；罗氏亦迁入此地定居。[1]

2001年，河口社区居民委员会设立，此后一直隶属河口街道。[1]
