新圩村是高埔镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区东南面，村中有两条公路在境内相交，交通便利。[1][2]

沿革与下辖[edit]

新中国成立前这里属惠来县，此后划归普宁县。1972年，新圩、营下、车仔上、神山背四个自然村合并为一个大队，即新圩大队，下辖的四个自然村名称至今未变。[1][2]

1983年，高埔公社改为区，新圩随之设乡；1986年改为村委会，1990年设管理区，1999年再改称村委会，名称沿用至今。[1]

自然与产业[edit]

高埔河流经全村，河沙与水源较为充足。村内的农业以果树为主，出产青梅与青榄，是高埔镇青梅基地之一。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，新圩村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
