古塘村位于白塔镇西部，地处半山区，省道穿村而过，村域面积近5平方千米。[1][2]

村内以食品加工、毛织业、手工珠绣和养殖为主要收入来源，近年还发展了沃柑种植。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

康熙年间已有村寨，民国时期隶属揭阳县磐溪都。1949年后归川岭区，设金联乡；1958年归白塔公社，称古塘大队；1983年起重新划归白塔区金联乡；村委会1986年设立，沿用至今。[1][2]

经济[edit]

据2008年的数据，全村工农业产值为1720万元，村民人均收入4900元。[1][2]

据2024年的报道，村内一处山岭农场种植沃柑约70亩，年均亩产5000斤至7000斤，通过电商、游客采摘和超市销售，年收益可达100万元。[3]
