历史沿革[edit]
自后往前看，1999年改称村委会，1986年后为管理区，1963至1986年称古塘乡，1950至1957年为古塘大队，1949年为古塘村农会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
古塘村进入了广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇的认定名单，时间是2026年3月。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
鑑光庐在村中，民国年间所建，属近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑，列兴宁市县级文物保护单位。[2]
