长岭村是革命老区村，地处埔田镇东北部，四面环山，东南与云路镇赵埔村相接，西边挨着老岭村，南面连着老龙村。博雅地名网称它是山多地少的纯农山村，主要种植香蕉和竹笋。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明初村子形成。1986年起设长岭村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

一项水田改造工程立项于2017年11月30日，由揭东区土地整理中心作为建设单位，2018年8月动工，2019年10月29日竣工验收。工程投入772.96万元，占地面积为15.9839公顷。[2]

该工程被评为「广东省首届垦造水田典型案例」，名单公布于2021年。[2]

基础设施[edit]

十四五期间，「埔田镇长岭村综合环境整治提升建设项目」完成实施。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，长岭村进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
