东门社区是广东省揭阳市榕城区进贤门街道下辖的社区，原属中山街道，位于榕城区中心[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1992年，东门居委会成立，属中山街道[1]。2025年9月中山街道撤销后，东门社区改隶进贤门街道[1][2]。

文化古迹[edit]

太史第建筑群位于东门社区，包括金马玉堂、郭氏宗祠与太史第，三者皆由揭阳先贤郭之奇于明崇祯二年（1629年）所建[1]。

清末藏书家丁日昌晚年在百兰山馆藏书读书，此处属丁公馆的一部分；他于同治十年（1871年）在榕城择地建府第[1]。

荣誉[edit]

广东省六好平安和谐社区的称号，于2008年授予东门社区[1]。东门社区也列入广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单（2018年度），该名单于2019年9月公布[1]。2023年5月，广东省爱卫会把「2022年广东省卫生村」称号授予东门社区[1]。
