东门村为潮安区凤塘镇所辖的行政村，位于镇政府东侧，由东门、韦厝两个自然村组成。村名得自其在凤塘片村东面的位置。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据《陈氏族谱》所载，南宋绍兴丙寅年，陈姓人士承凤公迁来此地创乡。村内以农业为主，荔枝是当地的特产。[1]

1961年，东门从原有队伍中拆出，单独成立东门大队；1987年改为管理区。此后，1999年起改设东门村民委员会，至今仍用此名。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，村被广东省爱卫会授予「2020年广东省卫生村」称号。2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，东门村三次列入淘宝村名单。[1]
