岗头村位于广东省东莞市桥头镇东北部，地处博罗与惠阳潼湖的交界处，紧靠桥东工业园，桥东路南七街贯穿全村。[2][3]

镇政府网站称，村庄立村约200年。博雅地名网则称该村立于19世纪40年代，两说在年代上接近，本条目列出两者。[2][1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，解放初此地归东和乡；1955年村与屋厦并为初级社，1957年又同东岸合为高级社。1958年一度并入东江大队，1960年复分出，1979年称岗头大队，之后改设乡与管理区，1999年改设村委会。[1]

镇政府网站载，村中设有文化活动中心与文化广场，另有灯光篮球场和老人活动中心。村内有幼儿园一所，私人门诊一家。[2]

博雅地名网概况页所载为2012年的数字，当时全村面积0.89平方千米，常住人口2200多人，村内有企业20多家。[3]

镇政府网站载，村内一处占地42亩的「工改工」项目于2025年11月建成，总建筑面积约9.6万平方米。村集体资产约7348万元，年收入约824万元，纯收入约245.8万元。[2]
