龙潭村位于九陂镇东部，东面与西江镇接壤，南面与阳山县交界，距镇政府约28公里，下辖11个村民小组，共263户、1254人。小北江穿村而过。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1940年时村一带称云诗乡。1951年成为连县四区的龙潭乡，1958年并进九陂乡，1961年自九陂析出，组成龙潭人民公社并设龙潭大队。1983年公社被撤，改回龙潭区下的龙潭乡。1986年又成为龙潭乡下的一个管理区，1998年升格为龙潭镇的村委会。2003年的乡镇调整中，划归九陂镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村的西面与南石塘村为邻，北面接连州镇。耕地约1872亩，水田占一半左右，余下为旱田与旱地。[1]
