西岸镇是广东省清远市连州市西部的一个镇，下辖14个行政村。据博雅地名网，全镇面积约127.9平方千米，第七次全国人口普查时人口约2.82万人。[1] 东陂河又称西溪，是连江的主要支流，流经镇境，清水河横贯镇域中部。[1] 镇内的东村是古村落，冲口村有清代所建的连州进士亭。[2][5]

地名由来[edit]

对镇名的来历，博雅地名网的镇条目记为：西岸镇原称回兰乡，因地处连江支流西溪（即东陂河）的岸边而得名。[1] 其西岸村条目则说，该地曾名回澜，因大村位于东陂河之西，遂改称西岸。[4] 两种说法并存，此处各记其出处。

历史沿革[edit]

中华人民共和国成立初，此地分设冲口、河溪、西岸、共和四个乡。1958年，四乡并入东陂人民公社；1959年冬，从中析出，成立西岸人民公社。1983年11月设区，1987年1月撤区建镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

镇域位于连州市西部，面积约127.9平方千米。东陂河为连江的主要支流，清水河横贯镇域中部。南北向有广江公路与省道1953线穿过镇域。[1]

行政区划与人口[edit]

全镇辖14个行政村。[1] 据第七次全国人口普查结果，镇人口约2.82万人，在连州市各乡镇中排第4位。[1]

经济[edit]

镇政府2023年的报告称，西岸镇围绕连州菜心推进“12221”市场体系建设，甜玉米、丝苗米也是其中的特色作物。连正、东青、丰源等企业在培育之列，属省、市级农业龙头企业，并采用龙头企业带动基地和农户的模式。[2] 镇里还建设了「黄埔——西岸生态产业园」，引进青皮蜜柚、香水柠檬等作物，并和黄埔区合作，设立了隆平院士港科研成果转化基地。[2]

文化[edit]

东村是西岸镇的古村落。据镇政府2023年的报告，该村以古村、古道、进士文化和农产品采集等为元素发展文旅产业；东村已申报成功「广东省文化和旅游特色村」「广东省乡村研学旅行特色村」等称号，又是国家级古村落，并依托国家3A级旅游景区「东村之恋」推动共同富裕试点村建设。[2]

镇政府还计划以西岸的端午龙舟文化为依托，与清远国旅合作开发龙舟文化旅游品牌。[2] 冲口村有连州进士亭，清乾隆四十八年（1783年）建成，用以纪念北宋皇祐年间该村陈铨、陈铸兄弟同中进士，并勉励后学。[5] 冲口村、马带村于2013年8月列入第二批中国传统村落。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，西岸镇被命名为「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」。2021年9月，西岸镇入选第三批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业镇名单，产业为连州菜心。[1]
