历史沿革[edit]
村庄建在河流西岸，故名。[1]建国之初称西岸乡；1958年改为西岸大队，1983年一度设乡政府，1986年起为村委会，1989年称管理区，1998年恢复村委会，延续至今。[1]
经济[edit]
耕地962亩，旱地264亩，水田698亩；另有林地16366.5亩。种植以水稻、花生为主，李子、蚕桑、竹为辅。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月上榜2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
