龙潭村是广东省清远市英德市大洞镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域东北面，距镇政府约7公里，辖26条自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年称龙潭乡，1958年改称龙潭大队，1983年成为龙潭乡政府所在地，1986年转为村委会，1990年一度是龙潭管理区，1998年10月7日又改回村委会，延续至今。[1]

地名的来历：此地多山，山脉走向似龙，又有许多沟坑和深潭，故称龙潭。[1]

经济[edit]

这里田地平整、地力肥，灌溉有保障，属粮食主产区；农业调整后，主要种冬瓜和笋竹。[1]

文化[edit]

省爱卫会于2023年5月把「2022年广东省卫生村」的称号给了村内的田心、看牛坪、田寮三个自然村。[1]

2026年，龙潭村是大洞镇的典型村培育对象，镇里的工作计划要求确保当年申报的典型村通过验收。[2]
