东南村是广东省清远市连山壮族瑶族自治县上帅镇下辖的行政村，位于上帅镇东南部，距镇政府约1公里。村名来自1958年设立的东南公社，此名沿用至今。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年设东南乡，1958年改称东南大队，1962年设东南公社。1958年时，该地两个大队原拟定名为东西公社，因邻近的下帅镇已先成立东西公社，改定为东南公社。1983年政社分设后仍称东南乡，1986年以后又叫作东南村委会，1989年变为东南管理区，1999年回到东南村委会的名称上来，沿用至今。[1]

东南村曾于2017年10月被认定为第一批「广东省卫生村」，认定方为省爱国卫生运动委员会。2019年12月，东南村列入国家林业和草原局公布的「第二批国家森林乡村」名单；2020年12月，又列入「第一批广东省少数民族特色村寨」。2026年1月，东南村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村称号。[1]
