山心村位于太平镇西北部山区，村委会距镇政府约20公里，是镇内的革命老区。[1]村委会驻地即在山心村。[1]

村域总面积25平方千米，其中耕地728亩，山多平地少。全村下辖16个村民小组，共2109人、523户，以水稻、花生、黄竹和速生林为主。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，山心村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。2022年8月，山心村成为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。2023年4月，山心村在2022年广东省乡村治理示范村的创建名单之内。2024年4月，该村进入广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村之列。[1]
