坡尾村位于阳西县程村镇，城乡分类上属村庄。1949年11月设坡尾行政村，当时归阳江县六区。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

坡尾在1949年11月成为行政村，划在阳江县六区之内。1953年改隶阳江县十二区，1956年划入程村区，1958年5月隶属程村乡。1958年11月并入大跃进人民公社，1959年设坡尾生产大队，同年10月转入程村人民公社。[2]

1967年成立坡尾革命委员会，1980年改为生产大队管委会，同年12月归织篢人民公社。1983年改设坡尾乡，隶程村区；1987年2月组建坡尾村委会，1988年阳西建县后属阳西县程村镇。1989年9月改称坡尾管理区，1999年9月恢复坡尾村委会。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年度「阳江市卫生村」名单中有站背村、德水塘村、关塘村、坡圩村、下店村（2021年12月确定）。2019年9月，坡尾村列入2018年「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单。[1]
