车木根村是广东省茂名市化州市江湖镇下辖的行政村，在镇的南部，设4个村民小组，在册595户、2626人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
这里在民国时归林尘乡；土改后的1952年划入林尘区西岸乡；1958年公社化，成为林尘公社的西岸大队。[1]
经济[edit]
全村耕地1235亩，主要作物有水稻、花生、蕃薯、玉米；特色收入来自红砖和木业。上一年农村经济总收入250万元。[1]村道已硬底化通到各村小组；建材为主、木材为辅的企业格局已成。2009年，镇里把这里定为工业产业园，有300多亩可用于工业的土地，已通水、电、路。[2]
荣誉[edit]
车木根村入选「2019年广东省卫生村」名录（2019年10月）。广东省农业农村厅2021年9月公布的「第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村」名单中，该村以化橘红上榜。2026年1月，又被评为「广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村」。[1]
