八一村是雅韶镇辖下的行政村，原为八个自然村组成的一个村落。1999年设立村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

地名由来[edit]

原村落包括鸥村、那苏、那洋、溪平、那福、陂头、石塘、潮蒲八个自然村。1958年底分成两个生产队，其中鸥村、那苏、那洋、溪平、那福编为一大队，村名由这次分组而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放后此地先称雅八乡，1958年划出一部分设为八一大队，归大沟公社管辖。1983年大队改为乡政府，归雅韶区；1986年乡级建制改为八一管理区，直至1999年才成为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，八一村委会下的鸥村被确定为「2021年度阳江市卫生村」。2022年10月，八一村列入「第六批中国传统村落」。[1]
