八一村是始兴县沈所镇的行政村，铜钟寨景区在村内。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年冬，原叫「外营」的这个地方改名「八一」。1961年建八一大队；1964年独丰、群胜并入后名称不变，14年后两片又分出。1983年起相继为乡、管理区，1999年撤区设村。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
铜钟寨景区位于村内，距县城约9公里，面积约45公顷，为3A级旅游景区，兼有丹霞与岩洞地貌。[2]
荣誉[edit]
八一村是广东省文化和旅游厅2019年9月认定的首批「广东省文化和旅游特色村」之一，2023年4月又进入广东省乡村治理示范村的创建名单（2022年度）。[1]
