和平村是广东省阳江市江城区中洲街道下辖的行政村，属主城区（城乡分类代码111）。[1]中洲街道办事处设于该村。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年初，原先的曾家村、莫屋村和林屋村三村合为一村，定名和平村。[2]此前的明代，曾、莫、林三姓先祖已在此分别建村。[2]1958年11月公社化初期，此地称和平管理区，属超美人民公社；1983年设和平乡，1987年改为村委会，1999年4月复设和平村委会。[2]2006年8月31日，改属中洲街道。[2]

博雅地名网另有一段地名由来，称取“中心洲”的前后二字为名，但按此取法得到的是“中洲”而非“和平”，故本条不采用。[1]
