金鸡社区是江城区南恩街道下辖的社区，位于主城区。名称源于居委会境内原有的金鸡阁。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区于1987年2月27日设立，设立之初归江城镇七区街道办事处管辖。阳江建市分县后的1988年1月，该办事处撤销，社区转入观光街道。[1]

2006年8月31日的区划调整中，金鸡居委会被划归南恩街道。居委会的新办公楼于2009年10月20日落成，并迁至现址。[1]
